Japanese Food


If we’re going to talk about Japanese food, we have to start with rice. Japanese rice has an unique texture and stickiness. It is one of the most important ingredients in Japan and it has been cultivated in Japan for over 2000 years. 
Rice is used to make these products:

Rice Wine, which is known as Sake. Its two main ingredients are rice and water.


Rice vinegar


Snacks like Senbei (rice crackers)

Some popular Rice dishes are:


Rice Bowl


A bowl of plain cooked rice is served with most Japanese meals. For breakfast, it is sometimes mixed with a raw egg and soya sauce. Soya sauce is the most important Japanese condiment and it is used in many Japanese dishes.



Sushi
It’s a food of Japan’s origin and it contains of sushi rice, cooked rice and sushi vinegar.


Some other popular dishes are Ramen and Miso Soup


Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish. "It consists in noodles served in a meat- or fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce, and uses toppings."
